Sweet Moruga

The Sweet Moruga is a surprising variation that retains all the typical fruity flavor and aroma of the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, but with almost no heat. This is a very rare phenomenon within the Capsicum chinense family. A friend of grower Chris Fowler planted his seeds and noticed that one of the plants produced fruits with a slightly different shape. Subsequently, selection work was carried out before this new lineage was finally introduced.
