Rocoto Turbo Pube

The Rocoto Turbo Pube is a classic Capsicum pubescens variety originating from the Bolivian Andes, recognized for its exceptional vigor and abundant production of meaty fruits, making it by far the most productive among our rocoto varieties. The peppers, rounded to slightly elongated in shape, ripen from green to orange-yellow at maturity. Their thick, juicy flesh offers a fruity and slightly sweet flavor, accompanied by a sustained yet pleasant heat. The plant, robust and highly branched, features the velvety foliage and black seeds characteristic of the species.
