Queen of the Night

Queen of the Night is an anthocyanin variety originating from the Rhine region in Germany, selected for its very dark colors and spectacular appearance. The plant, with indeterminate growth, is vigorous and produces an abundance of fruits, grouped in regular clusters throughout the season. The tomatoes are round to slightly oval, with a deep red to purple base, covered with a very intense black-purple anthocyanin on the shoulders and sun-exposed sides. At full maturity, the contrast between the black part and the red base becomes particularly striking. The skin is thin, smooth, and shiny. The flesh is red, juicy, and sweet, with a balanced flavor, milder than many anthocyanin varieties. This tomato is well-suited for fresh consumption, salads, and platters where its unique aesthetic immediately attracts attention.
