Oaxacan Jewel

Oaxacan Jewel, whose name means ‘Jewel of Oaxaca,’ is a very old Mexican variety originating from the Oaxaca region. It is prized for its large, vibrantly colored beefsteak fruits and exceptional flavor, establishing itself as one of the best tomatoes overall. The vigorous, potato-leaf plants provide a sustained yield of voluminous fruits throughout the season. The tomatoes are large, slightly flattened, and boast a superb orange-yellow skin marbled with red, creating a very bright bicolored effect. The flavor is sweet, fruity, and complex, with an excellent aromatic richness typical of great bicolored varieties. Their melting texture makes them ideal for thick slices, salads, or fresh consumption.
