Delirio

Delirio is an interspecific hybrid between Capsicum annuum and Capsicum chinense, created by the Italian grower Space Chilli Peppers. It originated from a manual pollination between Peter Pepper Yellow and Pink Tiger, two varieties renowned for their vibrant colors and spectacular foliage. The plants are distinguished by their dark purple and green foliage, with silvery reflections in sunlight, and their dark stems. The fruits, in turn, ripen from black/purple to an amber hue with mauve undertones, and sometimes develop magnificent streaks late in the season. The thick flesh is reminiscent of the Peter Pepper, but the interior is rich in oil and placenta, revealing intense heat and a delicious flavor.
