7 Pot Congo Gigantic Mustard

The 7 Pot Congo Gigantic Mustard is an impressive selection from the 7 Pot Congo lineage, originating from Trinidad and Tobago. This “Gigantic Mustard” version stands out due to the imposing size of its fruits and their unique mustard hue when ripe. Its potency makes it a truly formidable pepper. During the summer of 2025, we harvested fruits weighing over 35 grams, a remarkable weight for a superhot pepper. Their flesh is dense, very thick, and exceptionally aromatic with a fruity and slightly earthy flavor. These characteristics clearly differentiate it from other “mustard” varieties. The plants are vigorous and produce a good quantity of fruits that change from light green to mustard brown-yellow when ripe. They start flowering quite early, and the first fruits appear quickly for full maturity by mid-season.
