Pascal de Picardie

Pascal de Picardie is an old French variety originating from the Picardy region. It produces elongated, regular Roma-type fruits, ending in a distinct point. Their skin is a deep red, enhanced by dark purple anthocyanin on the shoulders, intensified by sun exposure. The medium-sized fruits offer dense, low-water, and very flavorful flesh, ideal for fresh consumption as well as for cooking, sauces, and preserves. Their firm texture and low seed content make them versatile and highly valued. The plant exhibits indeterminate growth, is vigorous and particularly productive, ensuring a regular harvest throughout the season.
