Sunrise Bumblebee is a cherry tomato from the Bumblebee series developed by Fred Hempel (Artisan Seeds). The indeterminate plant is vigorous and extremely productive, forming long clusters that renew throughout the season. The fruits are small, round to slightly oval, with a bright and decorative orange-yellow skin striped with red. Their flesh is juicy, sweet, and fruity, with a mild acidity that makes them excellent for eating fresh in salads or directly from the garden.

Isolated vs non-isolated plants

At Sick & Twisted Pepper Seeds, we take care to isolate a large portion of our crops. Each of our variety descriptions indicates whether the seeds come from an isolated or non-isolated plant.

Isolated Plants: Controlled pollination (nets or distance) to prevent cross-pollination. The seeds are pure and true to the original variety: shape, color, taste, and heat.

Non-Isolated Plants: Free and natural pollination by insects, which can cross several varieties. When cultivated, these new combinations are unstable.
