Lovely Lush is a beautiful American variety created by Brad Gates, renowned for his marbled and richly colored tomatoes. It produces large, meaty, slightly flattened beefsteak fruits, with deep pink skin covered in very decorative golden marbling and stripes. The flesh is dense, juicy, and very flavorful, with a natural sweetness balanced by a slight acidity. It is one of the most appreciated varieties for its melting texture and rich aroma, typical of large heirloom tomatoes, but with a modern aesthetic.
