M.A.M.P Black

The M.A.M.P Black (Mojo Addicted Mutation Pepper) is a collaborative creation between Enrico Lai and Arne Thies, originating from the unconfirmed 7 Pot Bubblegum Red × Pimenta de Neyde lineage. The fruits ripen from purplish black to deep red, offering a unique glossy black-red appearance. Their smoky and slightly fruity flavor, combined with a very intense heat, makes it a particularly popular chili for grilling and BBQ sauces. The plants feature foliage varying from green to black, sometimes variegated with purple, and produce a considerable quantity of fruits throughout the season. The seeds we offer, currently in F5 generation (2025), show good stability in both fruit shape and color.
