Clémentine Bleu

Clémentine Bleu is a modern European variety derived from anthocyanin lines. It stands out with its vibrant orange skin contrasting with dark purple to almost black shoulders. The plant is vigorous and productive, bearing numerous small to medium-sized fruits, round to slightly flattened. When ripe, the base of the fruit turns orange, while the shaded areas become a darker orange. The interior features bright yellow-orange flesh, juicy and sweet, with a slight tartness that balances the flavor well.
